In order to keep myself from getting rusty, I started looking around for tools and supplies I can get to keep doing this on my own so I wouldn't have to rely on the class's lab/workshop.
As reccomended by the teacher of the class when I first started the class... I finally picked up a copy of The Complete Metalsmith by Tim McCreight, professional edition with CD. Can't wait to read it when it arrives in a few days.
Time to also look into signing up for some sculpting classes as I want to start working with PMC as well as the 'raw' metals.
